January Sales Scouting: Paperchase

During my time in London a couple of weeks ago I found the enormous Paperchase store based on Tottenham Court Road and I just fell in love with, well, everything! The entire store was so gorgeously decorated for Christmas and the ornaments and trees on sale were so sparkly and beautiful that I was so disappointed at the fact that I really don't have enough money to spend on glittery items which are only really appropriate during December. So I came up with this idea, that I'm going to bide my time, keeping my eye all the while on the different bits and bobs that will make me a much happier person, and buy them all as soon as they go on sale in January. I've done this with a few shops recently because it is breaking my heart spending all my money on other people. Yes, I went there.

Anyway, here are a few snaps of the store, so hopefully you will be able to understand how I've been taken in by the unique stationers...

*The shop window enticed me in. I couldn't help it*

London Fashion Weekend Press Pass Giveaway

That's right guys... I'm giving one lucky blogger or vlogger the opportunity to win a Press Pass to London Fashion weekend. Don't all stampede at once!

The lovely Charlotte from Single Market PR sent me two Press Passes for Vodafone's London Fashion Weekend which runs from Thursday the 20th of September until Sunday the 23rd and as I can actually only attend on the Sunday, I wanted to give a little back to my lovely followers and fellow bloggers who have supported me through a really hard year.

So what do you have to do to win?

1) Follow my blog (at the right of my page you'll see three little grey boxes... click on the top one and hit 'Follow')
2) Leave a comment telling me your blog or vlog name, a sentence on what it is about and finally why going to Fashion Weekend would benefit your page.
3) Follow me on Twitter @HauteFuture and Tweet ' @HauteFuture is giving away a Press Pass for London Fashion Weekend #bbloggers #fbloggers #lifeblogs http://hautefuture.blogspot.co.uk/ x '
4) Leave your Twitter handle and email address so I can get in touch if you win!

Pretty simple, huh? I would love for whoever enters to come on the Sunday with me as because of the late notice of this giveaway I don't believe I'll be able to get to the post office in time to get it to you if you need to go any earlier... Plus, then I won't be on my own all day! Win-win situation :)

Obviously this prize does require you to be able to get to London on the 23rd of September (Sunday) in time for 10.30am as the event starts at 11am until 5pm.

I will only be seriously considering bloggers or those who plan to start a blog in the very near future solely because this is a Press Pass and it is not just a free ticket. I wouldn't want to give this prize to someone who doesn't blog when there are tons of girls out there would kill for the opportunity to have this extra bit of blog content. I hope you all appreciate that!

The giveaway closes on Friday the 21st September at 8pm. I will be announcing the winner both here and on Twitter and I will be choosing the winner based on the comment which is posted here. I will be choosing the person who I think will make the most of the experience... I think that is fair.

So, let the games begin!

IMATS 2012... 2 Fab Offers!

Hey guys!

Since my last IMATS 2012 post I've been getting myself all hyped up for this weekend and I absolutely cannot wait... What to wear, where to spend, what classes to attend? So many questions and I'm sure all will become clear by Sunday night when I should be tired out from covering the show all weekend, all I know is that I'm a ball of excitement right now and having sorted with my pal Emily that I will be staying with her it seems like its all real.

Anyways, the main reason I'm posting this is because of two fab offers I wanted to make you all aware of regarding IMATS 2012 which you'll definitely be wanting to snap up if you're attending.

Firstly, famed body painter Einat Dan and Emmy-winner Valente Frazier will be presenting a four-hour workshop each on Friday which will provide the twenty students allowed in with a one-of-a-kind insight into these two specialisms. With Dan focusing on commercial and editorial looks whilst Frazier teaches the red carpet glamour inspired looks which he has previously created on the likes of Rihanna, Iman and Tyra Banks, these tickets are sure to be snapped up very soon. Especially because those who purchase a ticket for either of these classes will be exclusively admitted into the pro-only event on the day beginning at 2pm and ending at 7pm. So how much is this fantastic opportunity about to set you back? For the pleasure of getting a sneak-peek at the show, shopping without crowds and networking with some of the biggest names in make-up artistry, you need only spend £195! A fantastic opportunity for anyone who is serious about IMATS 2012. For more information on this bargainous couple of sessions head over to the IMATS Masterclass Page to get signed up!

Secondly, a freebie which anyone can enjoy at the show The VIP Lounge will be offering the 'royal treatment' with a selection of food and beverages available, plus mani-massage treatment indulgences. In conjuction with makeup411.com and Royal and Langnickel IMATS are putting The VIP Lounge on so that guests may rest and unwind while learning about what's new and exciting in the make-up world. The VIP Lounge will be open for business on Saturday the 4th February from 10am-4pm, so make sure you run along and check it out for a spot of pampering... you deserve it.

I will soon be writing about my plans for the show... where I'm going to go, what I'm hoping to buy etc. As a total IMATS virgin, I have absolutely no idea what to expect so I'm hoping to find some other bloggers out there who I may be able to tag along with. I'm sure I'll enjoy myself either way!

Are you going to the International Makeup Artist Trade Show? Have you ever been to a similar event? What trends should I be on the look-out for when I'm shopping the stalls?

Thanks for reading guys... can't wait to be reporting IMATS as it happens.
Love
